Location: kingswood, Kent.

This workshop was run with the sixth form students from Borden Gramer school. The project was an introduction to the woodland experience, each student had the opportunity to create their own temporary artworks. The forest and the sited sculptures at Kingswood provided the inspiration for the participants work, these were made using found materials gathered from Kings Wood.

Using young sweet chestnut branches a canopy was woven and fixed on a framework
hung between the trees.
This project was run for the Stour Valley Art Project based at Kings Wood in Kent. The forest has an established sculpture trail with work from a number of international artists.
